A Natural Supplement for Vein Health.

Our natural vein health supplement provides support for the four structural layers of the vein by utilizing Butchers Broom Extract, Horsechestnut Extract, Gotu Kola Leaves and Troxerutin. Vessel Max decreases the appearance of unsightly spider veins. Vessel Max is intended for optimal support of the venous system.

The Natural Ingredients of Our Vein Health Supplement Include:

•Butchers Broom Extract for Vein Health
Butcher's Broom (Ruscus aculeatus L.) is a short evergreen shrub, native to the Mediterranean region. This plant has recorded medicinal use as early as the first century, but has been a focus of studies in venous disorders primarily in the past 40 years. Ruscogenins, an active ingredient in butcher's broom, play a major role in its activity and functions as a vasoconstricting agent through the alpha-adrenergic receptors. These compounds have demonstrated a wide range of pharmacological actions. Extracts of butcher's broom have also been shown to inhibit elastase, an enzyme involved in the decreased tone of veins.

•Horsechestnut Extract for Vein Health
Extracts of horsechestnut seeds have antiedema, antiexudative and venotonic activity, much of which has been known since the early 1960's.

•Gotu Kola Leaves for Vein Health
The freshly-dried leaves of the Gotu Kola plant (Centella asiatica L.) have been used medically for a variety of concerns throughout China, East Asia, and Africa for many years. Like Horsechestnut, Gotu kola extracts inhibit many factors associated with venous disorders. Gotu kola has the ability to enhance connective tissue, increasing the tone of vessels, tendons, and ligaments. This activity has been confirmed in several clinical trials, in which edema, pain, decreased capillary permeability, and microcirculation were all improved significantly without adverse effects. The use of this herb is becoming more frequent for a number of connective tissue, vascular, and wound healing protocols.

•Troxerutin for Vein Health
Troxerutin is derived from the Japanese Pagoda tree. It is widely used in Europe to support a wide range of venous disorders including varicose veins as well as unsightly spider veins.

Caution is advised for those taking Warfarin or other blood thinning medications. Gastrointestinal disturbances may occur. Do not consume if you are pregnant or nursing.
